Digital birdhouses

Using the gardens of tremough as a source of inspiration i have been creating decorative birdhouses for interiors. I drew the basic shape in illustrator, placed my photographc image in situ and digitally printed onto cotton sateen. The idea is to create a collection of birdhouses illustrating tongue in cheek themes. I had a brainstorming session with Eric and friends, the idea was to fill in the blank. ........house. We came up with loads of different types, dog house, whore house, ale house, farm house, counting house etc etc etc.
They are various sizes to go with the cheeky birds i'm also producing.
Photos of the finished products will follow

Stay Inspired

We are creatures of routine. We have a way of doing things.
Try new. Try different. Try wild. Try unexpected.
Wear black? Try white. Speak Fast? Try slow.
Always wound up? Try to relax. Always down? Be happy, it gets easier.
Normally safe? Take a risk. Like the city? Try the coast.
Try wild. Try the unexpected. Try new.
Stay inspired....

Take a look at http://www.bbphoto.net/ Bob Berry is a local (In Cornwall) photographer, i have admired his work for many years and hope to be this good one day!

Holiday to the Sinai pennisula

These are some images taken in January 2007 of Dahab, Egypt. I'm off there again with my wonderful man for a week of mainly windsurfing but hoping to see some of the sights including the Bedouins in the dessert. I'm aiming to photograph the desert from the plane to use in a project.
